Filament Production
We are expanding: Soon, we will be able to produce our own filament on a small scale for 3D printing. Initially, we will focus on incorporating specific functional materials into a polymer matrix to print functional parts for chemical reactions.
Filament extruder
The FM2 from 3devo allows us to produce filament for 3D printing from granules. Noteworthy are the accuracy and precision that the device maintains. This is particularly important to us in order to consistently achieve excellent results.
At the moment, we are still using the Filament Maker ONE, but as soon as Filament Maker TWO becomes available, we will upgrade.
Pre-extruder
The pre-extruder is used to homogeneously incorporate functional materials into the polymer matrix to ensure a consistent composition of the filament.
Shredder
The shredder crushes pre-extruded polymer pieces so that they can be granulated and then extruded with the FM2.
